Power are excited to bring Colton Hansen on to the staff as an Offensive Assistant

The Iowa Power are excited to #PowerUp and bring Colton Hansen on to the coaching staff as an Offensive Assistant Coach!

Colton, a native of Olin, IA, has an impressive football background that includes setting state passing records during his high school career and leading the state in passing yards and touchdowns in 2004 and 2005. He continued to shine at the University of Dubuque, where he broke several school passing records and earned First-Team Iowa Conference honors as a senior.

After college, Colton took his talents to the professional level, playing four years in the AIFL, IFL, and UIFL, earning the starting quarterback position on each team. His leadership and skill were key in every role he played.

Since retiring from professional football in 2013, Colton has remained deeply involved in the game. He has coached quarterbacks of all ages and skill levels and is currently the Quarterback Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Dubuque Miners in the Mid-West United Football League. Additionally, he coaches his two older sons' football teams and has built a successful construction company while raising a family with his wife, Ariel, in Anamosa, IA.

Please join us in welcoming Colton Hansen to the Iowa Power coaching staff! We are excited to have him on board as he brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to help develop our offensive strategy and grow the future of the team
